Phone passwords not updating in sip-vicidial.conf

Hi

I am having some issues with extensions password not updating on sip-vicidial.conf as expected

[8001]
username=8001
secret=goautodial
accountcode=8001
callerid="8001" <0000000000>
mailbox=8001
context=default
type=friend
host=dynamic

Phone password (secret) is not changing no matter what I do in the admin area
Using GoAdmin 3.0-1369195200

Also have created a new user/phone and got the below config with the same effect can not change password properly

[8021]
username=8021
secret=goautodial8021
accountcode=8021
callerid="8021" <>
mailbox=8021
context=default
type=friend
host=dynamic

In the admin interface data appears correctly I think it is the parsing that is not doing a good job, I have tried permission of the config file but with no luck

Any hint / help ?

Hello,

Using GoAdmin 3.0-1369195200

When you change the default phone password kindly also change the SIP Registration Password

Click Admin Setting -> Phone -> Advance Settings -> SIP Registration Password (it must be same in phone password)

After changing the password kindly check on your sip-vicidial.conf
