need help..urgent

pls help me with step by step instruction that how do i - 

Extract the file agent-UI.fix.tar.gz on the folder /var/www/html/goautodial-agent/

2. Patch the vicidial.php file using
patch -p0 -i vicidial.agent-UI.fix.patch

Hi,

You have to extract the file using tar -zxvf agent-UI.fix.tar.gz? have you also read the readme file in the agent-UI.fix.tar.gz?
