Hi Bilal,
GoAutoDial CE 3.0 uses Asterisk 1.4.39.1-vici.go and vicidial VERSION: 2.7-401a BUILD: 130508-2256. You can upgrade to Asterisk 1.8.23-vici just visit the link below for your guide.

Thank you!

I followed the link for upgrade to asterisk 1.8 and after rebooting, I tried the command core show version from CLI and still showing 1.4.
How I can verify that the version 1.8 is successfully upgraded?
Thanks

Are you sure you have restarted the server or Asterisk? You can check that Asterisk 1.8 is installed by running:
rpm -qa | grep asterisk
You should see something like:
asterisk-sounds-core-en-gsm-1.4.21-1_centos5.go asterisk-core-1.8.23.0-1_centos5.go asterisk-doc-1.8.23.0-1_centos5.go asterisk-1.8.23.0-1_centos5.go asterisk-perl-0.08-1.go asterisk-voicemail-1.8.23.0-1_centos5.go asterisk-dahdi-1.8.23.0-1_centos5.go

Is there any major difference with the upgrade ?

In terms of real life performance, not much really. Though Asterisk 1.8 handles SIP more efficiently than Asterisk 1.4. Not to mention that Asterisk 1.4 is already EOL (end of life) from Digium and is no longer supported.

Asterisk 1.8 is scheduled to go EOL on October 21, 2015. What is the timeline for GAD to support Asterisk 11 or 13?
