import a large database with phpmyadmin - urgent

Hello,
I want to import my database of Asterisk 2.1 goautodial data but it does not work because of the size of the 840Mo base.
I saw the need to change php.ini but changes to this file are not taken into account by phpmyadmin .

What to do if you please

Hi,

You might try to import your database using the server terminal or via SSH.
