cross cable connection not working.

well i want to test the installation i just installed it on my desktop computer its installed correctly but when i attached the ethernet port of desktop to the windows 7 laptop using network cable and then try to open the

i m not able to connect
is this a networking problem please help

how can i resolve this do i need a network switch or i need one more ethernet port in the server i have created ??

Hi Ben,
You must set a static IP on your windows 7 and GoAutoDial server, and make sure to have the same gateway on both computers.
Please see link for your guide on configuring a static IP on your GoAutoDial server.

It is much better to test with a network switch.
