just a precision for IP server adress

Hi alls, i put static ip adress for the server like that :

192.168.1.100
255.255.255.0
192.168.1.1

for the DNS : i m not sure : primary 192.168.1.1 is this correct ??

if not correct, where can i find the primary dns and second one ?
is there a command line to find it simply

use the any global dns like 4.2.2.2 or 8.8.8.8

make sure 192.168.1.1 is your gateway ip ie: router/modem.
